Last updated: October 10, 2026. EMS360 is made by Opbeeld Videoproducties, Papendrecht (the Netherlands). This policy covers the apps EMS360 and EMS360 Breath.
In brief
EMS360 is a training app. You don't need an account and we don't ask for your name, email address or any other personal data. There are no ads, we don't track you and we don't analyze how you use the app.
What the app processes
- Pairing with a code. A monitor gets a random number and a new six-digit code every day. The server stores the number, the name of the monitor (for example 'Monitor 1'), when it last connected and the app version. This lets a controller and a manikin pair with it.
- The state of the simulation. Values, rhythms and scenario settings go through the server so the monitor, controller and manikin show the same thing over the internet. These are simulated values, not data from real patients. Commands from the controller are deleted after 30 minutes.
- Typed sentences. If you type your own sentence in the controller, the text is sent to the manikin. The iPhone in the manikin reads it aloud with the device's own text-to-speech voice; the text is not sent to any speech service. With internet, the sentence goes through the server like the rest of the simulation state. The server keeps the last twelve sentences and sounds for the manikin; new ones replace old ones. So don't type names or any other personal data.
- Permission. A new device first has to be allowed on the monitor (or on the manikin without a monitor). For this, every device has a random key. The server only keeps a fingerprint (hash) of it, from which the key can't be recovered, plus what kind of device it is (for example 'Controller (iPhone)'). This lets the monitor recognise a device you allowed before. 'Disconnect everyone' in the monitor menu clears that list.
- Security. To prevent abuse, such as guessing codes, the server keeps the network address (IP address) of a request for at most 24 hours.
- On your own device. The chosen role, language, pairing and settings stay on the device itself. Without internet, monitor, controller and manikin talk directly over Wi‑Fi and nothing goes through the server.
Who helps us
Base44 hosts the server and storage. We don't sell data and don't share anything for advertising.
How long
A pairing is valid on the day of pairing and the day after. Network addresses are kept for at most 24 hours. Data of a monitor that hasn't been used for a year is deleted.
Your rights
Because there is no account and no name, we usually can't tell which data belongs to you. If you'd like us to delete a monitor and its data, contact us with the monitor's name and today's code. If you delete the app, everything stored on the device is gone.
Children
EMS360 is intended for healthcare professionals and healthcare students, not for children.
